This summer as most of you know we will be once again having VBS at the Kutztown Park.  VBS will be July 12^th to the 16^th with a Community Day on the 11^th to kick it off.  This week offers all of our youth, both Jr. and Sr. high a great opportunity to serve and be involved in ministry.  We’ll need lots of people to show up and help on the 11^th from 2 to 4 with the Community Day and run games for the kids that show up that day.  It’s also a chance to begin to develop relationships with kids in the community and invite out to be a part of VBS that week.  Then during the week of VBS we need help each night and you guys can all plug in to many different areas.  So make sure to come out to the park that week and make a difference in the life of a kid.

We not only need our youth group students that week, but we need plenty of adults that week as well to make VBS a success.  I hope to see all of you there.

This summer, youth group will be meeting July 25^th , and August 8^th and 22^nd.  During the summer there are plans to do some service projects since we didn’t have a summer trip this year.  We will also be doing plenty of fun stuff.  I’m planning on going to Blue Marsh again, a beach day trip, catching a baseball game, and we’ll see what else we find to do this summer.  Keep watching for details on events as they come out.
