Our first of two summer
youth mission trips is over. From June 15th
to the 22nd,
twelve of our Senior High students as well as three adults spent a
week in Tennessee. It was a great week. It wasn’t a typical mission
trip as the service that we did was not the focus of the trip, but the
true focus of the trip was helping the students experience Christ.
And that is exactly what happened. Our students had many different
opportunities to meet God in many different ways and we as adults got
to witness transformation taking place in the lives of our students.
It was a great week and we’ll be sharing much more with you about the
week as the summer goes on.
From August 3rd
to the 9th,
seven students from our Jr. High and three adults will be heading to
West Virginia for a workcamp. We’ll be working on repairing homes
during that week. Please be praying for our group as we continue to
prepare for the week and pray that we would be a great blessing to all
those we come in contact with during the week. (Meeting for all team
members and parents on July 20th after the 10:30 Service) Also see

Besides our summer trips,
there will be plenty of other things going on within our youth
ministry this summer. We will be meeting as a youth group on July 6 (Wagaman’s
Pool), 20, and 27 and August 17 and 24 throughout the summer. Be
watching for information on a trip to Blue Marsh to go tubing with the
Dietrichs. Also we’ll be planning a beach trip as well as probably
catch a baseball game or two and other stuff to keep us busy
throughout the summer.
From July 14th
– 18th
our church will be hosting it’s VBS program at the Kutztown Park. We
are inviting any of our youth group students to come out and help with
VBS that week. Also on July 13th
will be our VBS kick off at the park. Come out and be a part of VBS.
