WHAT IS MANNA?
MANNA is a ministry of Grace Church committed to serving the community of Kutztown and the surrounding area by providing food and other items to the needy. MANNA offers individuals and families with low incomes with much needed food
and other grocery items free of charge.
The mission of MANNA continues to be: “Feed people at all times and when necessary hand out food.”

We feed on average 175 people and are ordering about 3000 pounds of food from Berks County Food Bank each month.
WHERE DOES MANNA GET THE FOOD?
MANNA partners with the Greater Berks Food Bank (GBFB) and Weis Markets to acquire 4000 pounds of food each month. GBFB is associated with Second Harvest – a national organization. The congregation of Grace Church provides much of our other food needs and toiletries, as well as financial gifts, people to assist with the distribution and restocking and mostly prayers.
HOW IS MANNA FUNDED?
MANNA receives its funding from Grace E.C. Church budget, individuals, and community and business partners.
IS THERE REALLY A NEED IN THE KUTZTOWN AREA?
Each month MANNA serves around 70 families (comprising over 260 people) and the numbers are growing.
WHAT DIFFERENCE IS MANNA MAKING?
In addition to lower income families, MANNA has helped individuals that have found themselves out of work due to layoff s and/or health reasons.
WHAT ELSE DOES MANNA OFFER?
MANNA also offers families and individuals necessary day-to-day basics such as:
- Clothing (when available)
- Backpacks and school supplies (in September)
- Toys
- Counseling
- Social Service contacts
- Prayer partners
HOW CAN THE COMMUNITY PARTNER WITH MANNA?
Individuals and groups can partner with MANNA by:- Helping on distribution day (packing & carrying boxes)
- Restocking shelves after GBFB food delivery
- Donating food
- Giving financial donations
NOTE: All financial donations should be made out to "Grace E.C. Church" and designated in the memo line for "MANNA". These funds are used exclusively by MANNA for the purchase of food and/or other food pantry operations costs

8:30am at Grace Church
Delivery - Friday, June 28th at 2:30PM at Grace ECC
Mtg. & Stocking - Saturday, June 29th at
8:30am at Grace
Financial donations should be made out to Grace EC Church and designated to MANNA.
Also continue to pray for this ministry as we continue to grow and share God’s love!
